Spearheaded by Rawiri (Ra) Clay, this initiative draws from his extensive experience in hunting, gathering, and gardening in Aotearoa.
Located on our family's fully developed nursery property and whānau butchery, The Hunter Gatherer Gardener Program that is supported by Kōanga Kai aims to empower whānau by promoting food security, sustainability, and overall wellness.
Through a series of specialised educational workshops, we will teach essential skills and systems for sustainable hunting, gathering, and gardening.
This two-phased approach will enhance individuals' capacity to create sustainable food systems. offering a unique opportunity to learn from Ra's expertise.
